Sherdil
Privacy Policy
We collect your basic information (such as name, email, and cookies) to provide services and communicate with you. Your data is kept safe and never sold, though complete internet security cannot be guaranteed.
Data Collected
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, when you fill out our registration form, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, and other contact or identifying information you choose to provide.
We also use various technologies to collect information, which may include sending cookies to your computer. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in your device memory that help us improve our services and your experience, identify popular features, and track visits.
Course applications
When you apply for a course on one of our course application pages, we collect your name, phone number, email address, city, payment preference and, for some courses, whether you want to study online or onsite. We also record which ad or link brought you to the page, the date and time, and your IP address and browser type, which help us stop spam.
We use this information only to contact you about your application and the course, and we keep it only as long as admissions needs it.
Use of the Data
We only use your personal information to provide our services or to communicate with you about the website and its offerings.
We employ industry-standard techniques to protect against unauthorized access to the data we store, including your personal information.
We do not share your personal information without your consent, except with the service providers described under “Analytics and advertising” below, or when doing so is necessary to fulfill your request.
Sharing of Data
We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties, except with service providers that help us run the website and measure our advertising, as described under “Analytics and advertising” below. Aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the website and services.
We also use social buttons provided by services like LinkedIn, Google, and Facebook. Your use of these third-party services is optional. We are not responsible for their privacy policies or practices, and you are responsible for reviewing them.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, and Google Ads conversion tracking to see which of our ads lead to course applications. These services use cookies and similar technologies.
When you submit an application, a one-way encrypted (hashed) copy of your email address and phone number may be shared with Google to measure the results of our ads (Google’s “enhanced conversions”). Google cannot read your email address or phone number from it. We never sell your personal information.
You can opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com and out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Opt-Out & Communication Preferences
You may update your communication preferences or opt out of specific communications at any time by adjusting your settings.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free. In particular, emails sent to or from our website may not be secure.

Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes are made to the way we collect or use your information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the website or by sending you an email.
